Panorama Making Programs - MyPhotoSoft Rating
January 8, 2008 by admin
In the series of reviews we analysed and compared 8 panorama making programs. Each of them offers the user automatic, semiautomatic and manual ways of aligning, stitching and blending a panorama made of a set of photos. The material for testing was a set of photos taken with a Canon Powershot G6 camera, without a tripod. You can see the original images below.
Most of the programs in their help files would give panorama taking tips. These photos, as you see, do not conform to them and inevitably present a difficulty of some extent. Especially the last image that is slightly tilted. These images could not produce perfect panoramas in every case but very clearly showed the strong and weak points in the panorama makers we observed.
Below is the rating table where you will find all the programs mentioned in our reviews.
