June 26, 2007 by admin
A new Windows application by Adobe lets students and educators create TV-quality broadcasts.
Adobe Visual Communicator 3 is created for users out educational environment with little experience of video creation. It would be good project based learning, distance learning, and campus newscasts. The creation of video presentations for various output formats should be made easy with templates and wizards.
Video creations can be made to look even more TV broadcast like with customizable graphics, music, and special effects. Plus the ability to present in front of a blue or green backdrop that is replaced with a still or video image. There's even a teleprompter to let speakers deliver their lines more confidently.
Adobe Visual Communicator 3 will be available in fall 2007, priced at $399, with education customers being able to purchase it for $140. The preview version is currently available for free download on the Adobe Labs site, with more information provided on the Adobe site.
