Stitcher Unlimited 5.6 adds Mac Universal Binary compatibility and HDR (High Dynamic Range) image support.

The cross platform Stitcher is a photo stitching and image assembling application designed for the creation of panoramas and 360 degree virtual tours. It’s used by professionals in a variety of areas to panorama images for a wide range of end products.

Stitcher Unlimited lets users tap the potential of growing in popularity HDR by creating projects that combine under- and over-exposed areas in the same panorama. To make this possible, the core engine of Stitcher has been enhanced to perform all image processing operations at 32 bits per channel. Stitcher is said to be compatible with HDR images created by such applications as Adobe Photoshop, Photomatix and HDR Shop. Stitcher Unlimited 5.6 for Mac and Windows can be purchased on the REALVIZ site for $580.
