“Our CorelDraw user community is a highly valued source of ongoing feedback and inspiration and we are pleased to deliver an update that addresses their top requests,” says Gerard Metrailler, Corel’s senior director of product management for graphics.
The new service pack is available to current X4 users in all languages through the auto-update mechanism in the welcome screen. It should show up when users open any of the Corel applications. The service pack also can be downloaded from corel.com/support.
In other news, Corel Corporation reports that more than 1.2 million unique visitors have come to coreldraw.com, which the company set up in June 2007 as a meeting place for CorelDraw users. The site has attracted visitors from more than 220 countries and now has more than 20,000 registered members. It features a new wiki engine, enhanced image galleries and forums, and new friends and conversations tools.
“Our community site, CorelDraw.com, is a meeting place where CorelDraw users from around the world can interact together, exchange ideas, and communicate directly with Corel’s development and product management teams,” says Metrailler. “It continues to experience steady growth, month after month.” — T.M.
