Alien Skin Image Doctor is not strictly speaking a noise remover, but is more suitable for repairing images by removing jpg artifacts, scratches and extra texture and softening the skin. The closest to noise reduction function is the jpg repair. Exactly this function of the reviewed tool was tested.
Image Doctor is a plug-in and can be found in Photoshop under filters menu. There, in the menu, you also choose which of the functions you will use at the instance.

This noise reduction tool is a kind of rarity now as any further development of it stopped, and users can’t expect any new functionality or better algorithms. Let’s see though how the tool has done so far.
Noise reduction Pro is a plug-in found in Photoshop filter menu upon installation.
The image to be denoised appears in a separate window. The image preview is set on the right with the zoom controls below, and parameter settings are all set on the left.
The plug-in window cannot be resized but the zoom is quite convenient to work with. The preview is renewed every time you change the settings and not partially but as a whole.

Noise Buster plug-in by Akvis LLC is a tool for reducing noise of all sorts that can appear in your photos through high digital ISO or scanning of the images. The plug-in works with a number of image editors, is easy to install and work with, and provides a quality output.
It is, indeed, a very easy to use program. The workflow is very intuitive plus every function and parameter is explained by tips that appear once you have your mouse over the item.
The image is brought into the plug-in window, evaluated, and a portion of it is denoised to be shown to the user as a preview.
