Easy HDR program is fully devoted to hdr images processing. The three workflow steps it employs include merging, tone-mapping, and post-processing. The third step makes Easy HDR more or less independent and lets users to produce hdri without referring to any other image editor.
Easy HDR interface with tools and functions reduced to hdr making is not overloaded. Main window only contains major functions as loading/saving images, preferences, projedct saving/loading, help and the like. All tools and settings for each of the hdr images production steps are set in three tabs.
Merging hdri with Artizen

Artizen offers its users not simply an hdr converter but an image editor with a set of tools and functions comparable to Photoshop, and hdr merging and tonemapping is one of them.
Consiquently, opening Artizen you see the editor with it’s numerous tools and palettes.
But what really interests us is the menu entry ‘HDR’.
To produce an hdr image you can open files to be merged to hdri first or directly go to HDR > Merge and load your images within the dialogue space of the command.

HDR Soft Photomatix Pro is a standalone program (there exists also a Photoshop plug-in version) creating High Dynamics Range images from a set of differently exposed shots. Photomatix easy interface and good quality makes it one of the most popular software dealing with hdr. This article takes a look at what and how the program can do.
Photomatix installation is a usual procedure with no hidden obstacles. It goes smooth and predictable. On the first launce you are offered a quick tutorial (very clear and to the point) and a user manual. Right there on the screen you get menu paths for generating, tone mapping and blending images.

SmartMask is one of the latest releases of Akvis LLC, the producer of Chameleon, LightShop, and Retoucher. The program is after the same goal as all the other selection plug-ins – to make the selection progress smooth, easy, quick, and effective. Depending on the type of source images the user can employ one of three algorithms or their combination to achieve best results. This and the compatibility of SmartMask with quite a number of Photo Editing Programs makes this plug-in different from the others in the first place. But we shall look at what and how it can do on a number of images.
