The long anticipated and much discussed Adobe
Creative Suite 3 is finally shipping!
The first editions to ship are Adobe® Creative Suite® 3 Design Premium and Standard editions and Adobe Creative Suite 3 Web Premium and Standard editions.

Photo Mechanic 4.5 from Camera Bits for Windows and Mac is over the beta stage now is available for download.
The pro photo browser known for rapid import, captioning, selection and transmission of photos emerges with a new version.
A free update is available to all who licensed the software on or after March 1, 2006 (or March 1, 2005 for educational licenses). Upgrades to v4.5 from older 4.x licenses are US$90. A new license for Photo Mechanic is US$150.

Strata Announces 3D Connection With Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended
Strata's three new plugins will add 3D capabilities to the upcoming new version of Photoshop.
Strata positions its 3D tools as adjuncts to those in Adobe's Creative Suite. They even follow the Adobe interface standard as in Strata 3D CX. But it's not only that. Strata tools are able to import PDF and EPS files and permit linking a layered Photoshop file directly to the surface of a 3D object, as well as rendering final work to layers.
