Alien Skin Software has released the Eye Candy Effects Collection, which includes full retail versions of Eye Candy 5: Textures, Nature, Impact, Xenofex 2, and Snap Art. The range of filters offered will satisfy the needs of both Designers and photographers. The 54 filters have more than 1000 one-click settings together with the fine tuning capacity. The collections is available at $399 whereas separate titles would come together up to $575.

The contest launched by How magazine is to give in-house creatives an opportunity for exposure of their best work beyond usual environment.
Samples of actual work can be submitted. The Best of Show winner will receive a prize package that includes a two-page spread in HOW’s February 2008 issue and three HOW Design Conference registrations. Merit and Honorable Mention winners will also take home prizes that include exposure in HOW magazine or HOWdesign.com .
